Day two is a continuation of the material that the students need to learn about before they apply it
on days 3-5. Once again, lecture briefly on erosion, soil color, soil texture, soil horizons, and pH. All the
information for these topics can be found under day two on the web-site. It is not necessary that students
read information under day two on the web-site but there are pictures which demonstrate each topic.
You may want to draw the soil horizons on the board using different colors.
