ANNUAL MEETINGS

The planning for PSSAC's 2011 Annual Meeting is led by David Kelley, Toby O'Geen and Randy Dahlgren. Topics will include a session on online soils tool and apps, including utilization of the USDA NRCS Web Soil Survey, the UC soils website, Google Earth, and iPhone applications. The field tour portion of the meeting will feature Yolo County soils with an emphasis on Mediterranean climate soils (duripans, salty soils, deep vertisols, acid-sulfate soils, very old well-developed soils).
