PSSAC's membership categories include:
Regular Member. Basic requirements include (1) a bachelor's degree in Soil Science or a closely related field of study with adequate credits to qualify for the position of Soil Scientist as specified by the federal Office of Personnel Management, and (2) five years' experience as a professional soil scientist or positions providing equivalent experience. A master's degree in soil science or a closely related field of study counts toward one year of professional experience. A doctorate degree in soil science or a closely related field counts toward two years experience. Experience credits for any combination of mater's and doctorate degrees may not exceed three years. Annual dues are $35.00
Associate Member. This category is available for soil scientists, students and others who do not meet the regular membership requirements, but who are interested in the goals of the Association. Associate Members have the same rights and privileges as Regular Members except those of voting, holding office, or using the name of the Association on any letter, card, or advertisement. Annual dues are $10.00.

The Board of Directors placed a moratorium on adding any new listings to the PSSAC Consultant's Directory until a set of standards had been developed for the ByLaws. If your business has been listed in the past in the PSSAC Consultant's Directory you may pay your annual listing fee using PayPal. Please advise the Executive Secretary of any updates to your listing.
